As we kick off the start of March, there’s one thing that’s on all college student’s minds: Spring Break. Whether you’re flying to somewhere exotic, or driving to the next big adventure, here are some things not to forget:

1. The Essentials… Duh

This shouldn’t come as a surprise. The essentials include clothes, toiletries, shower items, etc. that will last you the duration of the trip. Make sure to think about the different activities you’ll be doing and the type of weather you may experience at your destination. Remember, there’s a fine line between being prepared and packing too much.

2. Space… What?

I know what you must be thinking, “She’s insane” or “what in the world is she thinking?” but hear me out. Take a slightly larger bag than needed so that you’ll have room on the way home. Room for souvenirs and if worse comes to worse, you can just stuff your clothes in (instead of folding them) your feeling lazy the last day of your trip. Win win right?

3. Last but not least… Courage

Whether you go out of town or stay in, don’t leave your courage behind. Use that week of relaxation to try something new. Try a new food, visit a new place, or try a new hobby. Who knows? You may discover something new about yourself!
