Who Do You Look Up To?

I think it is safe to say that we all have someone in our lives that has greatly impacted who we are today. Sometimes it’s a friend, a family member, an idol, and so on. For me, it’s my mom.

My mom is my biggest hero. She’s my role model, my therapist, my guidance counselor, my best friend, and even my biggest fan. Without her, I don’t think I would have made it to where I am today this soon. Now, I know I’m not Einstien, or Oprah, or even someone famous, but I have accomplished a lot to be proud of.

Now, my mom and I haven't always been as close as we are today. We definitely had our trials. My Mom was a single parent, raising 2 girls on her own. She did her best and we never went without. As I entered my teenage years, I rebelled and she did what she could to guide me otherwise. She certainly never had it easy, but she never complained.

My mom is the strongest person I know, and having her to look up too has helped motivate me even through the toughest of times. I am a firm believer in the fact that everyone should have someone to look up to. So with that being said, who do you look up too?
